Collagen is a key component of keeping your skin looking vibrant. As we age, our bodies begin to produce collagen at a much slower rate. Loose, sagging skin is the result, along with stubborn wrinkles on the face, neck and chest. It doesn’t have to be that way, and facelifts aren’t the only option to reverse the signs of aging. Ultherapy has arrived as a non-surgical, non-invasive, FDA-cleared skin tightening and lifting treatment that can lead to long-term results after just one session.
How does Ultherapy work?
Ultherapy uses the power of ultrasound technology to lift and tighten the skin by boosting collagen production in targeted areas. That energy is delivered using a device that provides low levels of ultrasound energy in rapid bursts. The result is a rejuvenating effect that improves for the next six months as your body produces more collagen and fights back against the natural aging process.
The best part is, most patients only require one session to take advantage of the full benefits of Ultherapy.
It’s about time you harnessed the power of ultrasound technology for the natural-looking, long-lasting results you deserve. Embrace a younger, more vibrant you with revolutionary Ultherapy.
I have been undergoing non surgical procedures for the past 7y internationally but SDBotox is one of the best medical spas I’ve had the pleasure to cross paths with. Not only does SDBotox offer cutting-edge services and highly competent doctors and nurses, but the whole staff is incredibly professional and the spa follows high standards. I highly recommend SDBotox.
I had a great appointment with Dr. Oleg. He is professional, knowledgeable and I felt completely comfortable. I've had a few shots in the past and just assumed I have a very low pain threshold for needles, but somehow Dr. Omade it painless!
ULTHERAPY TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Know what to expect with Ultherapy before and after your skin tightening treatment. For the best results and to reduce the chance of any side effects, we have a few tips for you from our expert providers.
Make your healthcare provider aware of any health conditions, whether you feel they are relevant to your treatment or not.
Avoid anti-inflammatory and blood-thinning medications before your treatment. Blood-thinning medications include Aspirin, Advil, Ibuprofen, Motrin, supplements like fish oil and Vitamin E, and other NSAIDs. Talk to your provider if you’re unsure whether your medication regimen is appropriate for Ultherapy.
If you’re sensitive to pain, your provider may recommend one dose of an over-the-counter medication to take before your treatment. This may relieve any discomfort after your Ultherapy session. Talk to your provider about whether this is appropriate for you.
Consider starting a regimen of Arnica in the week before your treatment. Arnica has been shown to reduce swelling and inflammation.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing to your appointment if areas targeted are away from the face.
Arrive at your appointment without makeup. Avoid applying any lotions, serums or creams to the targeted areas. Your provider will be cleaning targeted areas before your treatment anyway before applying an ultrasound gel.
The treatment areas may be slightly pink after your treatment, not unlike redness after an intensive facial. This is normal and will subside over a few hours.
Bruising, swelling, tenderness may occur in some patients a few days after the treatment, especially if targeted areas are along the jawline and cheeks. This is also normal. Ice packs may be used in 10-minute increments after your session to minimize bruising and discomfort
Makeup is fine after your Ultherapy treatment, but be gentle with targeted areas when applying makeup, washing your face or restarting your skincare regimen.
There is no downtime following an Ultherapy treatment. You can expect to return to your daily routine, even regular exercise, immediately after your procedure.
Some patients experience an immediate improvement in their appearance after an Ultherapy session, but most should expect final results to appear gradually over the next six months. Your provider WILL take before/after photos of you as a way to measure your progress.
Talk to your provider about ways to maximize the results of your Ultherapy. That may include tweaking your skincare routine or exploring other cosmetic treatments. Your provider will also recommend a timeline for follow-up care and touch-ups.
Disclaimer: SDBotox will not perform the treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Ultherapy is a revolutionary, FDA-cleared skin tightening and lifting treatment that uses ultrasound energy to boost collagen production from deep within the skin. Treatments are non-invasive and non-surgical. That means no incisions and zero downtime.
Ultherapy is best for tightening loose skin in the face, chest and neck. That includes sagging brows and loose skin in the submental area. (That’s underneath the chin.) Ultherapy is also used to reduce fine lines and wrinkles to the chest area.
Many patients see gradual, impressive results after just one session. Some patients will benefit from additional sessions depending on their skin condition and how the targeted areas respond to the treatment.
Most patients describe a tingling or warming sensation during Ultherapy treatments. Your provider can apply a topical numbing agent 1 hour before starting your treatment to reduce any discomfort. Talk to your provider ahead of your treatment if you are particularly sensitive to pain, as they may recommend an over-the-counter pain reliever for any discomfort during and after your Ultherapy session.
Your Ultherapy cost will depend on the areas of the body you’re targeting for treatment.
At SDBotox, Ultherapy treatments are broken down as following:
Full face (above brows, mid face/cheeks, upper neck/submental/jawline): $3,000
Mid-lower face and upper neck/submental/jawline: $2,000
Brow Lift: $550
