BBL Hero FAQs
BBL HERO is a newer version of BBL. It can target more areas than the traditional BBL, making it more efficient if you have several areas of concern. The higher energy BBL HERO is popular with those seeking body treatments in addition to targeted areas of the face. Both treat similar skin concerns: sun damage, hyperpigmentation, acne scarring and redness, and more.
If you’re looking into rejuvenating your skin, you may have noticed we also offer IPL laser treatments. IPL stands for intense pulsed light. IPL treatment involves a single beam of light and predates BBL when it comes to the world of photofacials. It’s a focused approach that can treat lesions and pigmentation in the skin.
BBL is considered a type of IPL treatment, but it involves multiple light wavelengths. These light beams penetrate deep into the skin to efficiently address even more skin conditions than ever before.
BBL is suitable for all skin tones. Sciton Joule treatments are customizable, and your provider will work with you on choosing a treatment that will work best with your skin.
The number of treatments you’ll need depends on your specific skin concerns, what you’re hoping to achieve. Treatments are spaced 2-4 weeks apart.
Some skin conditions may require fewer sessions. Your provider will walk you through a treatment plan that will address your concerns in the most efficient way possible. They can also talk with you about maintenance plans for even longer-lasting results.
SDBotox offers BBL treatments in both our Mission Valley and Sabre Springs locations.
