SaltFacial Treatment Instructions

Before

Try to avoid too much sun exposure in the two weeks before your treatment. Wear an SPF of at least 30 if you need to get out in the sun before and after your SaltFacial.
Avoid chemical peels or any exfoliating cosmetic treatments for at least ten days before your treatment.
Avoid any topical treatments that include retinoids, exfoliants, topical antibiotics, and acids that may leave your skin more sensitive for at least five days before your SaltFacial. You’ll want to leave those treatments out of your skincare routine for 3
We’ll be using a cleanser to remove any residual makeup and prep your skin for the first step of your treatment, but come to your appointment fresh-faced. That means no makeup, lotions or creams the day of your appointment.
Try not to touch your face too much after your SaltFacial. Avoid picking at any areas of the skin, scrubbing or peeling light scabs that may appear after your treatment. Allow your skin to slough off any debris naturally over the next few days, and use a
There is no downtime after your SaltFacial. Your provider will give you instructions about encouraging healing in any tender areas of the skin, moisturizing and when you should return to your regular skincare routine.
Your skin will be primed for topical products after your SaltFacial. Talk to your provider about skincare products that may extend the life of your results and maintain those visible improvements.
