Ohio born, Texas raised,Rica completed her undergraduate degree at Texas Tech University in May 2003, where she triple majored in Communications, Technical Writing, and Spanish. After a successful career in business, she went on to pursue her passion of health care earning her Master’s in Science of Nursing, working in the Surgical/Trauma Intensive Care Unit outside Detroit, MI. From there, she pursued her degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Toledo.

In 2017, Rica worked as a Nurse Practitioner at Rady Children’s Hospital in the Emergency Department until the opportunity presented itself to move into aesthetics’ in 2019. Since then – she has never looked back. Her favorite part of aesthetics is exploring the patients’ goals and developing a treatment plan that helps the client achieve their best natural results. She loves and appreciates the trust people give her!

In her free time, she enjoys surfing, hiking and camping/backpacking – usually with her two dogs! She loves to adventure from hiking mountains to SCUBA under the sea! She also enjoys a quiet night hanging with friends or family.
